homage to german subjectivism

Poster at the Exhibit

As I left the huge exhibition, forografia subjectiva, about 200 photographs made by German photographers between 1948-1963 and now in Mexico City, I passed a bookstore window. Graphic lettering ran the length of the long counter, declaring that the store...more like an emporium... sold the whole of suspense,  the whole of mystery and more. I am currently reading an anthology of Mexican short stories and wanted to capture the feeling of suspense and mystery found in the stories. Then too, the images in the reflections felt related to the exhibit. Exploring muliple layers of reality is fascinating in both literature and photography.

Reflections of Mystery
